Record producer

Some claim that Joe Lewis did not compose any songs, and that this «collaboration» with Larry Heard actually hides an original creation from the master of the deep house. It’s true that everything is reminiscent of the Mr. Fingers: 707 + Juno, holy trinity BAR-BASSE-NAPPE, until the title - Love Mystery - which only needs a preposition to become one of Larry Heard’s hits : Mystery of Love (to the very similar melody, what is more).

Most importantly, his mini-album - The Beginning And The Ending - released 9 years later, is almost exclusively composed of pieces stolen from Jaime Reed (who had produced them in the studio of Insync vs Mysteron). The young Englishman had entrusted to the «producer» in transit in Brighton, a DAT hoping to release a record on his label Target records.

Lewis has not released anything since but we still see him in the Discogs comments to threaten lawsuits with each bootleg of «his» records.
