Visual artist

Gergő Kovács is a Hungarian creative most notable for their textural, abstracted CGI and graphic design for various experimental music nights, labels and artistic projects.

They started their practice in 2015 (at the age of 19) by holding bootleg workshops on digital art practices, exhibiting their 3D-rendered artworks, prints and videos next to

artists such as Metahaven, Faiyaz Jafri and Hito Steyerl, then briefly trying themselves out as curating Hungary’s first new media exhibition. After their Zagreb solo exhibition

in 2016, they turned away from the field of fine arts, as it did not feel an accessible medium for a person from a worker or Eastern background, such as Kovács themselves.

Since that, their work is defined by providing consultation, directorial vision, stage design and flexible artistic support for various performers, musicians and festivals, while pursuing their personal interest in folklore, digital cultures, queerness and minority identities.

Record producer

Glenn Crocker, later more well-known under the Glenn Underground alias, is one of the pioneers of Chicago House « Second Wave ». He is one of those artists who started its career inspired by godfathers like Larry Heard, Lil Louis, or Ron Hardy : the original pioneers of the Chicago House Scene.

We Have Arrived is the first record from the Chicago-based musician, who in the 90s became famous for his tracks on Cajual Records (Cajmere’s label), on Dutch label Djax, and on English label Peacefrog that published his first album - soon to be iconic - Atmosfear, on which we can also find the track “Entercourse Of The New Age”.

This one can be considered as the laboratory of Glenn Underground’s future classic Atmosfear LP.

Chicago Underground was one of Chicago Bad Boys records’ label, under which tracks from the famous crew of Djs and producers founded by Steve Pointdexter were published. They released Paul Johnson, Drew Sky’s, and Felix Da Housecat’s early work.
